Meet the Founders
Our company is led by Brook Hopkins and Francis Bingham, two former big law firm attorneys who created Canopy to pursue their passion for helping organizations bring out the best in their teams.
Co-Founder
Brook Hopkins
Brook is an attorney, investigator, and coach who guides and supports organizations through conflict and disruptions so they can get back to pursuing their mission. She has extensive experience in diverse environments including leading a research program at Harvard Law School, working at a top law firm, and clerking on the U.S. Supreme Court. Known for her ability to assess complex problems and foster people-centered solutions, Brook is committed to cultivating positive organizational cultures and driving impactful change. She holds a law degree from Harvard Law School.

Francis Bingham
Francis is a former partner with the world’s largest labor & employment law firm who helps employers identify and resolve workplace disputes quickly and effectively. Having advised and defended employers for many years, Francis knows first-hand how even the smallest workplace issues can snowball if they are not given the necessary attention. He co-founded Canopy because he wanted to provide the kind of impartial, thorough, and strategically-minded investigations that employers need to effectively navigate workplace disruptions.
